A leading School in Bicester is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dependable
Maintenance Technician / Assistant Site Manager to join their expanding Estates Maintenance team to keep the school premises maintained to a high standard, ensuring a safe learning environment for the children.
You will work closely with the Site Manager to be responsible for the school maintenance and security, including the opening and locking of the premises which may require you to be available outside of normal working hours when the Site Manager is unavailable.
As part of your important and varied role, tasks will include:

- Any additional cleaning where required
- Setting of security alarm systems
- Carrying out security checks
- Respond to emergency calls
- Re-decoration

Minor maintenance work as agreed with your line manager, e.g. minor plumbing, carpentry, light bulb change, unblocking of drains, repairing furniture, litter picks, gritting, sweeping, gardening etc.
This position is Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm, 35 hours per week, pension, 25 days holiday and 8 bank holidays, salary offered is £23k - £25,500 depending on experience. Based in Bicester.
