As an integral part of the Maternal Medicine Network Hub team, your role assists in providing a comprehensive, effective secretarial and administrative service for the West Midlands Maternal Medicine Network Hub.

To create and maintain effective administrative filing systems.

To be responsible for the circulation of agendas, papers, booking rooms and refreshments, and taking minutes at departmental meetings, project board meetings and MDTs as required.

To assist the Hub Midwives in the collation and effective storage of data, including via Excel spreadsheets.

To ensure a continuous supply of day to day essential stationery items.

To deal with telephone and face to face enquiries for the WM MMN Hub, ensuring enquiries / message are dealt with in the appropriate manner.

To engage with the Perinatal ODN admin team to agree any changes.

To use initiative in urgent or emergency situations and seek guidance should there be no manager available at the time.

Liaise with/take message from other third party organisation on behalf of the maternal medicine hub when appropriate.

Work as part of a team to perform above duties as part of cross cover arrangements within the Directorate and Perinatal ODN.
