Credit Control Trainee

Annie A Recruitment are working with a organisation based in Huthwaite to recruit a Permanent Trainee Credit Controller into their team. Working in a friendly team you will report into the Credit Supervisor with the collection of outstanding payments. Full training and support will be given in this role however applicants need to be confident on the phone and dealing with customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for applicants currently studying their AAT or someone looking to enter the world of finance. Applicants from collection or customer service backgrounds would be an advantage but not essential.

They are currently working 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

**Duties include**:

- Minimise overdue and aged debt by ensuring customers operate within authorised terms and credit limits.
- Accurate posting and allocation of receipts
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Investigate and report any deductions
- Identify and resolve customer queries in a timely manner
- Liaise with relevant internal departments and external parties in a professional and efficient manner
- Opening New account
- Requesting and maintaining credit insurance
- Credit check customer accounts daily
- Maintain high level of customer service
- Highlight areas for improvement in relation to policies, processes and systems
- Providing reports and analysis of the debt portfolio
