- The postholder will support the chief investigators and the wider National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) PHIRST team to deliver robust and responsive public health interventions evaluation research. Duties include, but are not limited to: to undertake research within the scope of the project, establishing a programme of research activity working collaboratively with colleagues at UH and partner organisations as appropriate, to attend project meetings within UH, nationally and internationally, as appropriate, to seek external funding as appropriate, to disseminate the outcomes of the project in publications, at conferences and through other appropriate media, to supervise undergraduate and post-graduate student projects related to the research field and to undertake undergraduate and post-graduate teaching as specified in the annex.- The role requires willingness to travel within the UK as PHIRST teams undertake research across all four nations.**Skills and experience needed**- In addition to the responsibilities and duties set out in the job description and person specification for Research Fellow, you will need to maintain good communication with the NIHR PHR Secretariat as agreed with the PHIRST CIs, build and maintain good working relationships with all project partners and contribute to the research design and planning process of each PHIRST project.**Qualifications required**
- The postholder must hold an undergraduate honours degree or equivalent level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline and a postgraduate level qualification in a relevant discipline (or relevant equivalent experience). Relevant disciplines include the Clinical, Social and Behavioural Sciences, with an Applied Health Research focus at doctoral level.**_Please view the job description and person specification for a full list of the duties and essential criteria._**:
