The Risk and Incident Management Team are looking for a highly motivated Administrator to join our busy team environment.

You will be required to act as the first point of contact for the team, making sure that all queries and requests are answered in a timely and effective way, in addition, this role will require you to assist with the overall incident management process by supporting with administrative tasks.

As a team we oversee the day to day running of our incident reporting and management system, Datix. We implement all system changes and updates to provide smarter ways of working by utilising the functionality within Datix to ensure the system captures the right information needed to report from.

We review all risks and provide support to Services to make sure there are adequate measures in place to control the risk and that action plans are in place to reduce the risk further.
- Responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for system queries, providing support and advice via telephone, electronically and face to face, assessing, resolving and escalating system issues and liaising with colleagues in other teams, services and directorates when required.
- Assisting with the escalation procedure, supporting investigating managers with expert knowledge to help enable thorough investigations to be completed and lessons learnt identified, ensuring that all incidents and contact records are linked, working jointly with external organisations to help facilitate whole system learning.
- System Administrators are responsible for the day to day operations of systems utilised by KCHFT. They have a greater understanding of the system, provide system support and ensure the system works efficiently.
- System Administrators provide customer support to system users across KCHFT which include health professionals, managers and administrative colleagues.
- Ensuring the system and service operates effectively by undertaking comprehensive administrative tasks, such as undertaking regular system maintenance, verifying system functionality, providing support for meetings including managing agendas and taking formal minutes, diary management and completion of standard forms, surveys and audits.

We also provide training on key risk areas identified through analysis of incidents, risks, complaints and claims.
