Trainee Bookkeeper

**Trainee Bookkeeper (Jobstart scheme - 25 hrs/week)**

These positions were advertised previously but we are re-advertising to clarify requirements.

This will be on-the-job training covering the basics of financial record keeping including payable and receivable ledgers, bank reconciliations, payroll. VAT compliance and management accounts.

Should there be a vacancy at the end of the training period you are likely to be offered a permanent position with our bookkeeping team which would include support for professional studies.

The eligibility requirements of the JobStart scheme are as follows:

- You are aged between 16 and 24.
- You are not in further education.
- You are unemployed.

The working pattern for the 25-hour week is flexible and you will be paid National Minimum wage for your age group. This would give monthly pay for a 25hr week as follows:

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
