Export Operative

Our client based in Abingdon who provide high quality shipping services are looking for an Export Operative to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

**Job Brief**:
**Key responsibilities include**:

- Conducting thorough visual inspections of all incoming goods, including the removal of unrequired items.
- Complete all inspection paperwork. This requires full documentation of any interior or exterior defects and clear and precise photography showing the condition of the incoming goods.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure loading of all goods into shipment containers in preparation for export.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Good technical experience with hand and power tools and the ability to operate these tools safely and appropriately for the task in hand.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where precision, safety and initiative are part of everyday work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

**Hours of work**:

- 08:00-16:00, Monday to Friday
