We are looking for an experienced landscaper to lead an established team of landscapers creating beautiful, high spec, award-winning private gardens across Central Scotland. Reporting to the Landscape Manager, you will need to have at least 5 year's experience of hard landscaping and have built up a high level of skills in paving, brickwork, stonework, decking, fencing, turfing and planting and all aspects of site layout and preparation. Experience in constructing water features would be an advantage as would a high level of skill in 360 digger work. We are looking for someone who takes great pride in their work, works effectively in a team, takes responsibility for their actions and pays attention to detail. You will be responsible for planning and managing the workload of the team, assigning tasks, over-seeing quality and assisting in the training of junior members of the team. You will be expected to ensure your team maintains the site, tools and company vehicles clean, tidy and in good condition at all times..
**KEY SKILLS**
- Proficiency in paving
- Proficiency in walling
- Proficiency in fencing
- Soft landscaping experience
- Confident reading design drawings, setting out gardens and levels
- Keen eye for detail
- A strong focus on delivering high quality workmanship and demonstrating ongoing pride in every job
- Manage workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively on all levels and with director and clients
- Highly motivated and able to meet deadlines
- Competency with tools and machinery
The role is available with an immediate start and after completion of an initial probationary period is a full time position with potential long term prospects.
