Catering Supervisor

**Typical Work Activities**

All aspects of food preparation; cooking, baking, presentation

Preparation of meals for Residential visitors.

Keeping administrative & food hygiene records

Keeping the kitchen to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness

Serving food & interacting with customers

Supervising team members within the catering team

**Personal Skills**

Flexible with an outgoing cheerful disposition and the ability to “muck in” as part of a small team is essential. A friendly happy person, willing to help other team members as well as visitors and able to work in an unsupervised environment and to supervise new team members at various times. **Hours of Work**

40 hours per week

Flexible to ensure the satisfactory completion of the job. General working hours are 9am to 5pm including weekend work, working on a regular rota.

Some slightly unsociable working hours may include Breakfast (8am start) or Evening meal (6.30pm Finish) providing meals for our residential students.

**Rates of Pay**

£26,000 Salary equivalent, paid monthly in arrears.
