The shift pattern for this post is 11.55 hour shifts on a rotational basis Shift Pattern, 07.15 to 19.30,19.15 to 07.30 (may vary slightly dependant on ward)

The 5th floor inpatient medical wards at the QEUH have opportunities for full time and part time Band 2 Health Care support Workers.

We have opportunities in our Endocrine and Diabetes wards, and within our Infectious Diseases wards.

The responsibility for providing fundamental nursing care whilst supporting our Registered Nursing team to ensure the delivery of high quality care to patients.

You would be part of a team of both band 2 and band 3 HCSWs with the responsibility for providing fundamental nursing care whilst supporting our Registered Nursing team to ensure the delivery of high quality care to patients

We offer excellent opportunities to develop as a HCSW in our 4 wards. Opportunities open to you as an HCSW employee include adult basic life support, blood sugar monitoring, support role in High consequence infection PPE, and as access to the NHS GGC HCSW development programme (TCP).
