DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management Lead on the project delivery of improvement outcomes for the preceptorship program, by taking responsibility for improvement and project delivery. The post holder will have primary responsibility for maintaining databases and information systems related to the project. Produce relevant reports, documentation, and briefing papers for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that professional standards are maintained with respect to the assigned project.

Provide a business proposal based on the overall identified need on preceptorship. To ensure that risks are being tracked and mitigated as effectively as possible for the project they are responsible for. Develop and ensure that timelines for this project is met. Liaise with a wide range of clinical, managerial, and administrative staff throughout the Trust.

Communication & relationship management Develop and maintain communication with identified stakeholders. Communicate effectively at a variety of forums, through use of presentations. To work with preceptees and preceptors gaining continual evaluation of the program particularly focusing on areas for development and support. Build stakeholder relationships that promote and shape the preceptorship agenda to move this workstream forward.

To engage stakeholders using persuasive skills to support change processes, including clinicians, managers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals. Coordinate and facilitate appropriate communication channels to support the effective sharing of information in work streams. Knowledge, training and experience To be an experienced and approachable project lead, flexible and available to meet the needs of both preceptees and our IN cohort. Act as a role model, sharing effective practice and learning from others.

Maintain own professional registration and practice through CPD. Maintain personal standards and conduct and behavior consistent with Trust and professional registrant guidelines. Keep relevant records and submit reports in a professionally acceptable manner. Analytical and Judgement Skills Receive complex information in relation to system and process requirements, ensure agreement and co-operation of clinicians and other key stakeholders; present complex, information about the program to groups of staff as required.

Planning and Organisational Skills Ability to ensure that preceptees have all the information that they need to develop on the program and understand the processes that need to be followed and the timelines involved. Ability to plan and organize complex activities ensuring all progress to time and schedule. Monitor progress, rotation, achievements, and attrition rates for all preceptees and our IN cohort. Evaluate the Preceptorship Program and adapt accordingly, measuring the effectiveness and impact of Preceptorship Program on retention and recruitment.

Attending meetings where appropriate. Providing feedback and reporting updates. Physical Skills Work with Microsoft Office Program, requiring standard keyboard skills. Responsibility for Policy and Service Development Develop policies and protocols for own work area and propose project changes which impact across the organization.

Exercise a personal duty of care in relation to Trust resources. Regulation, Quality Monitoring and Evaluation. Financial and Physical Resource Management Authorised signatory; responsible for the purchase of some physical assets, supplies and services as required. Responsible for day-to-day budget management of own project.

Human Resources Provides training on own project to staff at all levels. To assist in the smooth running of the service. Research, Analysis and data management Reinvigorating and promoting this multi-professional support approach. Follow all relevant policies and procedures, ensure preceptees are working to the relevant policies and procedures.

To participate in audit, risk management, quality, practice, and education initiatives to drive and support the implementation of change as necessary. Assist with preparation for and presentation of reviews/inspections (in-house audits) Equality and Diversity Ensure all education and training and practice placement learning meets equality, diversity and inclusion standards and provides equitable opportunities for all staff and learners. Carry out all duties in a way that supports equitability, values diversity, and champions inclusion. Freedom to Act Lead specialist on specific project.

Works autonomously within clearly defined policies and management structure. Plans and organizes own time and workload activity with prioritization.
