**About the role**:
Due on ongoing and continued expansion, we are looking for an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join our thriving finance team. This truly is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business in a role with a huge scope for development. The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday between the hours of 09:00 - 17:30 with a one hour break for lunch.
**As an Accounts Assistant at Churchill Support Services, you will be responsible for**:
- Own the Purchase Ledger, ensuring all supplier accounts are accurate and up to date.
- Process payments to suppliers and other expenses.
- Manage cashbook and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date General Ledger accounts and books of prime entry.
- Assist in the preparation of Month End Working Papers.
- Liaise with budget holders providing ongoing support and analysis for cost management.
- Ensure processes, systems and procedures across the finance function are operating, identifying issues and recommending solutions.
**Requirements**:
- Experience within Purchase Ledger processing
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
- AAT qualified or studying towards Level 4 would be desirable
