Material Planner

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established global business that designs, manufactures and supports industrial turbochargers supplied into the power generation, marine and rail traction industries. **Responsibilities**:

- Release P/O to suppliers
- Release subcontracting PO
- Ensure that ERP action messages are managed in a timely manner
- Ensure that Master item data (such as Suppliers, lead times, MOQ...) are accurately maintained in ERP
- Categorize inventory items (ABC, frequency/value) and take actions to meet inventory targets
- Plan part coverage versus MPS requirements
- Categorise suppliers and define action plan to improve performance
- Create demand plan for suppliers and share with procurement department
- Perform weekly root cause analysis of raw material and components stock outs
- Identify and implement action plan to improve availability and optimise inventory
- Monitor and analyse supplier’s performance

**Qualifications**:

- Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Level 4 or equivalent preferred

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 - 3 years in Supply Chain Material Planning / Sales Administration
- Practice of Continuous Improvement, PDCA tools, root cause analysis

**Salary Range**: £28,500.00 - £36,000.00
