**Purpose of the Job**

To carry out maintenance activities on all site tube furnaces in line with business requirements.

To assist the engineering department on specific routine tasks.

**Job Summary**

To champion tube furnace repair to ensure world class maintenance KPI’s relating to furnace availability and safety close out rates are met in full

To carry out maintenance activities on tube furnaces in line with business requirements using the relevant diagnostic skills which meet production requirements safely and efficiently.

To continually develop best practice handover techniques to provide a world class service.

To communicate with the production team and maximise use of time and resources.

To work in a safe manner ensuring all health and safety rules, processes and legislation are adhered to.

Contribute to departmental 5S.

Maintain records as required on Mainsaver/Spidex.

To work with and support other members of the production / engineering team.

The ability to work in and promote team working within the organisation.

Sound communication skills

Sound problem solving skills.

Planned and organized approach to workload.

Self-motivated.

Able to promote and work within a safe working environment.

**Your profile**

General background in maintenance

Previous experience working within a manufacturing / production industry

Experience in “hands on” role/s would be advantageous
