An exciting opportunity has become available for the post of Sixth Form Academic Mentor at
John Henry Newman Catholic College. We’re looking for a talented individual to help
foster a caring and supportive learning environment for our young people. Your
The person in this role will work directly with Sixth Form Progress Leader and Head of Year 12/13 and they will play a crucial role in the effective implementation of a number of vital processes that help our students to develop their study skills and habits. Excellent standards of organisation and prioritisation will be required, as will an ability to work in a calm and orderly manner at all times. You will also work closely with our KS5 Pastoral Lead so the ability to communicate effectively is essential.
Your attendance will be required for calendared evening events, such as, open evenings, academic review days, Year 6 transition/induction evenings and any other directed events.
