We are recruiting for a Health & Safety and Environmental Coordinator to work on HS2.

You will have a genuine interest in Health, Safety & Environment matters. For this role, you will also need to have:

- Admin experience in a similar capacity, in a construction environment
- Excellent IT skills
- Great written skills
- The ability and confidence to use your own initiative
- Resolve to work under pressure and and have the motivation to deliver key objectives
- Strong organisational skills and close atention to detail

The main aspects of the job will be:

- To support the corporate and wider SHE team, with the management of information reports and systems on a business stream / unit level
- To support the SHE team in the collation of data and communication of the strategy.
- Providing the information to be uploaded to the project website on a weekly basis (or if necessary, more frequent)
- To maintain where appropriate legal registers or data bases.
- to where appropriate maintain health record and distribute health and wellbeing information
- to collate data requests and disseminate results as requested by the corporate team.
- to disseminate Lessons learned to internal and external stakeholders, to manage IRB information.
- To be aware of personal workload and capability to raise issues with the SHE manager.
- to share good practice and innovation to internal stakeholders.
- To work closely with the learning and development team and maintain L&D data/systems including the contracts training matrix
- To book and arrange compliance training as and when required
- Waste data entry, ability to manage data and accurately transfer into systems and databases
- Perform data analysis and trending, representing information visually and in a format that suits the target audience
- Providing support to the environmental team as required.
