**The day-to-day**
As a Video Creator in this team, your primary responsibility is to the work.
Crafting best-in-class, cutting edge, beautiful, exciting work that puts the audience first.
We need you to focus on the craft and artistry that goes into this, managing your time to ensure all deadlines are met and work is held to the highest standard.

**Champion the work.**
As a Video Creator, your primary focus should be the work and growing your craft.
For you, the work MUST come first - achieving best in class, ground-breaking, trend setting edits.

This is a modern Social role, where your skills in video production and editing can combine with other areas of creativity - this is an opportunity to learn, grow and develop a wide set of the skills beyond what you came in with.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Bring the best of social video production to everything you touch - _show off with every brief_
- _Plan, manage and execute small to medium shoots both on site and off._
- _Integrate with larger production teams when required_
- _Manage up keep of production kit alongside studio Manager_
- You need to stay ahead of trends, bring them into the work and at the same time share them with the wider agency.
- Provide support to the wider team - educating them on best practice, framing & editing techniques, trending styles etchelp us grow the team into mini _‘yous’_
- Look to grow your skill sets into new, exciting areas - Mixed reality, VR, 3D modelling etc, helping us answer _‘what is the future of social filmmaking?’_
- You should stay inspired, motivated and excited about what we do and how we go about it.
Share this enthusiasm with everyone around you, _be loud._

**Champion the people.**
You will be expected to support the teams around you to do their best, to set them up for success as best you can and encourage them to do their best work at SocialChain.

Non of us can do this alone - to help us achieve our vision it’s vital that you liaise with other Creators, Seniors and ACD/CDs within the business, maintaining an open and honest dialogue.
Realising and flagging potential issues early is key to fixing them - speak up, speak early and we can support you.

**Pitching in.**
You will be asked to work on pitches.
That’s not to say you will work on all of them, but you will be expected to assist - both on the pitch itself, and in clearing the decks for those that are working on them, back filling roles and managing deadlines to ensure we meet the needs of existing clients.
