Would you like a role in a new warehouse working Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm?
Own transport will be essential due to location LN6 area.
Pay rate £12 per hour.
Temp to Perm role after 12 weeks.
We need someone who is organised and a team player to support across the Packing, Dispatch & Logistics function. This role is paramount to ensuring an efficient transition of products from warehouse to the end customer, you will coordinate and administer activities across the packing/dispatch/logistics function.
Your daily responsibilities will include packing, dispatching, quality checking and preparing orders; ensuring they are despatched to the customer in a timely manner, in the correct packaging, and via the appropriate distribution route.
**The Role**
- The packing of our products for distribution to our customers through collection, and third-party hauliers /courier delivery.
- Taking ownership for operational and dispatching administration, seeking guidance, or escalating queries to the Warehouse Supervisors / Manager Lead when required; as well as collaborating with the businesses administrators and sales team to ensure all admin/paperwork is aligned and completed timely and based on commercial objectives.
- Ensuring Origin Amenity products are accounted for, always documented and packaged for dispatch to the highest quality standards.
- Communicate with sales team and customers directly on estimated times of arrivals and any other delivery related enquiries.
- Help to investigate and follow up on carrier and customer queries as required (e.g., damage claims).
- Help to record, monitor, and analyse daily dispatch volumes so operational performance can be managed effectively.
- Using the Company’s software and equipment to ensure traceability of orders despatched. (Training will be provided).
- Ensure compliance with all dispatching, transportation, and other logistics processes.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of work in compliance with company procedures.
- At all times, ensuring that good housekeeping standards are maintained.
- Maintain and advocate a clean, organised, and safe working environment in parallel with company policies.
- Support the Warehouse Supervisors / Manager as required.
- As directed, conduct any other tasks within your skill set.
**Experience / Qualifications**
- Previous experience of working in a dispatching and logistics role is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately is imperative.
- IT Proficiency is essential.
- Experience of working in a warehouse/production environment is desirable but not essential.
- Maintain priorities and deadlines despite conflicting demands, schedules, and plans.
- Methodical and work as a team player.
- Ability and willingness to adapt to change.
- Pro-active and can-do attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external customers

**Hours of work**:
Monday-Friday, 08:00am-16:30pm
