In 2023 New Forest Agricultural Show Society were awarded a 10-year contract to run 10 established campsites in the New Forest. From this our clients company was launched. They are in a unique position to develop the brand and ensure that the New Forest Agricultural Show Society and their organisation continue to thrive and that the New Forest National Park become the number one camping destination along the south coast.

Alongside these 10 campsites the Society runs both the annual New Forest and Hampshire County Show and New Park Events (these include holiday cottage rentals and Long Meadow Campsite both at New Park Farm).

My clients growth plans are to grow the business from 2.2m (2023) to over 7m (2027) - we therefore need someone with change management and experience of automating and streamlining the accounting process to help us achieve more timely and accurate reporting for the SMT and board members.

The role is located at Brockenhurst and will primarily be office based with some opportunity for remote working once fully competent.

You will have strong commercial acumen and proven business partnering ability working ideally with both Commercial and Operational teams.

**Specific Accountabilities**
- Leading the finance functions within the organisation.
- Control of day-to-day banking and accounting, including client accounts
- Main contact for banking relationship
- Delivery of timely management information and statistics
- Responsible for annual budgets and cashflows
- Oversight of statutory accounts for audit.
- Compliance with statutory returns for VAT, PAYE and other taxes
- Budgetary control
- Reviewing and selecting appropriate software solutions
- Liaising with professional teams to deliver data and drive financial performance
- Reporting to partners on budgeting, management information and performance indicators
- Support the growth of a growing business.
- Report to group on month end data
- Act in an advisory capacity to the CE in relation to the direction of the business/business decisions
- Ensure financial compliance and integrity and provide commentary on month end reporting.
- Be proactive in providing solutions to current challenges (i.e. growth, increased costs prices, CAPEX investments etc)
- Evaluate business cases and financial options to support operational growth targets.
- Develop tools/projects to improve the way in which the business operates.

**Competencies**
- Proven experience as a Finance lead or similar role overseeing the overall finance function.
- Depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
- Knowledge of Sage 50, payroll, and auto enrolment legislation
