**Salary: £10.42 per hour +50% Saturdays and +100% Sundays**

**Working Hours: Permanent, Part-Time 30 hours per week**

**Location: Northgate Hospital NR30 1BU**

As a Floorperson, you will ensure that the areas within the site are kept to the required levels of undertaking a range of logistic activities which provide for the collection, carriage and delivery of a range of items, while maintaining high standards of materials handling safety, security and accountability. The incumbent is required to become skilled in a range of logistics functions to the satisfaction of both G4S Facilities Management and the Client.

**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities**
- To meet operational requirements, demonstrating a high level of flexibility, initiative and multi functionality.
- To attend all appropriate training and development as required for this role.
- To abide by Logistics Operational procedures.
- To carry out manual handling tasks.
- To appropriately account for logistics tasks in order to maintain an audit trail.
- To drive vehicles and operate mechanical handling equipment on and off site, as appropriate.
- To maintain a clean and tidy workplace and vehicle, completing housekeeping tasks as appropriate.
- To undertake detached duty at off-site UK locations as appropriate
- To carry out period cleaning tasks including floor maintenance and replacing of curtains
- To work as a flexible member of the cleaning team providing a variety of effective, organised and efficient services with a high level of customer service.
- Be a good communicator and be a good team player
- Continuously develop and improve daily tasks as required

This is a part-time role based at Northgate Hospital working 30 hours per week on a two week rota

**Week** 1 Monday to Friday 07:00 - 13:00

**Week** 2 Wednesday - Friday 07:00 - 13:00 Saturday and Sunday 06:30 - 12:30

**Essentials**
- Holds a Full Clean driving licence
- Able to achieve an enhanced DBS clearance
- Have the right to work in the UK

**Desirable**
- Previous cleaning experience
- Previous experience in working in a healthcare environment
