The team requires two Assessment & Review Officers to join a Specialist Childrens Service Team (SEND).

The Team is looking for experienced staff who can write EHCP's following requests for assessments, update EHCP's following Annual Review meetings, meet parents and schools and chair co-production meetings.

There are two posts available; one for the 1 - 13 team and another role for the Post 14 team. The latter must have experience of the available pathways for Post 14 young people with additional needs.

Posts are to cover long term sickness for staff who have had operations and are not fully recovered or are receiving treatment and are unable to return to work in the short term.

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience working with SEN children and young people
- Experience in developing EHC Plans.
- Ability to write EHCP's following requests for assessments and update EHCP's following Annual Review meetings
- Previous experience of meeting with both parents and schools
- Previous experience of chairing co-production meetings
- Experience and a good understanding of the available pathways for Post 14 young people with additional needs, where applicable
- Passionate about working with and supporting children, young people and their families
- Determined to ensure children and young people have their needs met
- A highly organised person and an exceptional communicator with a wide range of audiences
- A committed team player who goes above and beyond
