Yard Foreman

A1 Wokingham Car Spares are looking to hire a Yard foreman to join our team here in Wokingham.

**Responsibilities**:

- Directing and assisting customers in locating specific car parts within the yard.
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Organising and overseeing a team of forklift drivers to safely lift cars for customers to remove parts.
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the yard.
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the supervisors to restock necessary vehicles.
- Managing yard maintenance and cleanliness to ensure a safe and organised working environment.
- Training and mentoring new staff members on yard operations and customer service procedures.
- Collaborating with management to implement process improvements and enhance overall efficiency.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with vehicles/parts and their identification is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure situations calmly.
- Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as needed.
