Maintenance Handyperson

Roles & Responsibilities:

In this unique role where no two days are ever the same, you’ll carry out general, planned preventative and reactive maintenance to the Castle and Knights Village.

On a rota basis this position will act as duty technician for the whole business and will be required to react to broad ranging problems that directly affect guest experience and therefore requires a professional, quality, and skilled approach to deliver swift solutions to possible business critical problems.

You’ll take full responsibility and ownership of all assigned tasks, carrying out skilled planned maintenance, repair and improvements and record keeping. In addition to this you’ll attend callouts/breakdowns and carry out fault diagnosis, repair, following company health and safety to ensure safety of yourself, colleagues, customers, and visitors.

This is a permanent hourly paid role. Working 5 days out of 7 including regular weekends.

Qualification & Experience:

- Experience working in a similar role within Facilities Maintenance or an associated professional trade
- Experience and skills in planning and prioritising your own work
- Willingness to train and gain additional job specific skills
- Must have a valid UK driving license
- Working at height qualification’s; IPAF & PASMA desirable
