Freelance Bookkeeper

**About us**

We are a restaurant and bar in Cheltenham town centre. We have an excellent growth plan also diversifying in the retail sector.

Our organisation is looking for someone to perform bookkeeping tasks. This includes maintaining financial records, identifying patterns and trends, calculating and verifying numbers from financial statements, and keeping up-to-date with monthly financials. We're interested in hiring an individual who can perform all duties independently and make direct recommendations to upper management whenever necessary.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create new spreadsheets and databases, and input data in them.
- Calculate payroll and assist in bank reconciliations.
- Prepare invoices and create purchase orders.
- Manage accounting software
- Be able to identify financial trends.
- Check employee hours to help with payroll and overtime calculations.

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: £18.00-£25.00 per hour
