We have an exciting and rare opportunity for you to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis

We are currently seeking a dynamic Early Years Professional / Early Years Teacher to become part of our successful and growing nursery. This is a wonderful opportunity to work as part of a friendly Nursery Team in a not for profit nursery which is Ofsted Outstanding 2023.

This is an exciting role where you will be responsible for the planning and leading of the EYFS curriculum within the setting, carrying out observations and supporting staff with the training they require. We are looking for a team player with a hands-on approach who will work in partnership with the nursery staff and help lead their planning. You will also be expected to follow all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery. You will hold QTS (with early years assessment) or EYTS and have the ability to lead and support fantastic education and development practices within the nursery, coaching & mentoring staff and supporting the implementation of the EYFS framework.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- To help lead the nursery room to ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
- To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room reflective of the EYFS
- To work in partnership with parents and carers
- To follow and implement all of the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
- To lead, monitor and review the delivery of educational programmes across the Nursery Setting
- To prepare children for the transition to their next room or school
- To keep abreast with current thinking and best practice
- To deputise when required

**You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience**:

- Early Years Teacher Status / Early Years Professional Status / QTS Status
- A passion for supporting 2-5 year old age children with their development
- Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS
- Strong communication and team working skills
- Ability to take responsibility for Children's Safeguarding
- A firm and thorough understanding of the EYFS and OFSTED outcomes, and best practice delivery
- A firm understanding of the Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements
- All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS
