We are seeking a Night Care and Support Assistant to join our team. Located in a quiet, residential area on the outskirts of Leicester, Skelton Court is a residential care home with 15 en-suite bedrooms. We provide residential care and support for adults aged 18 or over, who have a range of learning disabilities and complex or high needs, including dementia.

**The role of Night Care and Support Assistant will include**:
- Providing peace of mind for all residents by carrying out security checks throughout the night and checking on all buildings and residents
- Responding to calls should a resident need support in an emergency
- Conducting bed calls and morning calls to a high standard
- Working to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
- Delivering a high level of personalised care and support
**Skills and experiences**:
- Personalised approach, ideally with experience within a similar, care related role
- Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
- Strong organisational skills, as well as functional literacy and numeracy
- Good communication skills, allowing you to build relationships with residents
- Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines and targets
- NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards is essential
