**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Operate a forklift safely to transport materials, products, and equipment within warehouse and production areas.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and secure placement of items.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on the forklift and promptly report any issues to the maintenance team.
- Adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse by clearing aisles and removing debris.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production and shipping schedules.
- Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments, including inspecting for damages and discrepancies.
- Effectively communicate with team members and other departments to coordinate logistics activities.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to forklift operation and workplace safety.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement efforts.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a forklift driver in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of forklift operation and maintenance procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.

**Salary**: £22,800.00-£24,960.00 per year
