**Communications FPGA Engineer**

**Location: Southampton, (SO16), Hybrid**

**Salary: £35,000 - £65,000 pa + Private Healthcare Insurance/Hybrid Working/5 weeks a year holiday**

**Immediate Start**

Our client are seeking enthusiastic and motivated **FPGA Engineers** to help and deliver solutions to their most challenging engineering problems. They're particularly looking for graduate and experienced **degree-qualified engineers.**

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- You will be with the team to deliver new communications systems and products
- You will participate in all phases of a project.
- Working within a small/medium enterprise (SME) means that you will have the opportunity to interact with the customers

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in FPGA design
- Experience in languages such as VHDL, Verilog and High-Level Synthesis
- Awareness of Modelling tools such as MATLAB and Simulink
- Knowledge of Radio communications and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) techniques
- Knowledge of Software Defined Radio (SDR) and RF techniques.
- Knowledge of Development of communication waveforms
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine learning (ML)
- Be able to see the impact that your work is having on the continued success of the company.
