**Pay Scale**:£25,218 to £31,795
**Responsible to**:Outdoor Education Manager
**Overview of role**
Due to recent growth, we are looking to recruit an inspiring, enthusiastic, dedicated and creative person on a full-time basis in the role of Outdoor Curriculum Coordinator. This position will involve developing the learning structures of the outdoor education experiences through the management of the curriculum.
We aim to encourage young people of all abilities to take part in outdoor education irrespective of their background or ability, to make a difference to their lives.
**Your Skills / Experience & Qualifications**
- Teaching qualification or equivalent
- Hold multiple NGB Awards at Instructor level or above
- Experience of delivering outdoor education to a formal setting
- Competent in administrative and IT Skills
- Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborate effectively within a team
- Have knowledge of outdoor education within other settings
**Key Aspects of the Role**
- To develop and maintain the Outdoor Education Curriculum
- To be responsible for learning within the context of group or one to one sessions
- To plan a programme of outdoor activities suitable for each group or young person that reflects their needs and experience.
- Develop a recording system that monitors children’s progress towards National Governing Body qualifications.
- To ensure the suitable qualifications are in place for all outdoor activities
- Develop a curriculum which reflects the criteria set out by the numerous National Governing Bodies of the activities that we deliver.
- To ensure that all records regarding students are kept up to date and are easily accessible for other staff who may teach that group.

- To ensure awareness of policy and procedures re Child Protection and Safeguarding
- To be aware of the signs and symptoms of abuse by participating in regular training
- To report all causes for concern to the Safeguarding Lead
- To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all the young people we work with
