Location: Portsmouth
Hourly Rate: £13.90
Hours per week: Part-time, weekend 4-16

Right at Home Portsmouth covers the following areas: Portsmouth, Portchester, Port Solent, Southsea, Drayton, Purbook, Cosham, Hilsea, Waterlooville, Southwick, Denmead, Boarhunt and Hambledon
**Duties will include**:
- Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
- Personal care
- Administering medication
- Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
- Shopping
- Housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Taking Clients for appointments or outings
**Requirements of a Care Assistant**:
- Be available for weekends - evenings from 4pm shifts also available
- Must be able to travel between calls so you will need your own car and have relevant licences.
- Have a genuine passion to want to help others
- Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
We will also require a DBS to be conducted and business insurance on your vehicle for this role.
If you already have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS that would be great, but don't worry if not, we are open to people who are new to care.
If you are a student nurse or a student studying health and social care, medicine, biomedical science, or any other care industry qualification we can offer you real world, practical experience and on the job training.
