We manage over 5,000 properties and are continuing to build new homes each year.
**The Opportunity**
- Manage both the insurance and procurement inbox and deal with any queries or issues.
- Run quotes and tenders.
- Answer any procurement queries.
- To lead all procurement and associated contract management activities in accordance with Thrive’s Strategic Framework (including the Procurement & Contracting Policy) and operational objectives.
- To manage the contract with insurance brokers, oversee day to day insurance portfolio and claims.
- To lead end to end procurements with use of tendering, framework agreements, quotations and other sourcing tools to drive best value.
- To maintain Thrive’s Contracts Register - ensuring electronic and or hard copies of contracts are kept filed as appropriate.
- Undertake value for money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working in a Procurement role.
- Knowledge of Procurement within the public sector.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering savings through effective procurement and contract management.
- Significant understanding and confidence to solely manage a procurement portfolio.
- A good working knowledge of the PCR 2015 and general public sector procurement best practice.
