**Optical Assistant**

**Primary Site: Gloucester Road - **you will also work at our Clifton practice when required (notice provided)

**Salary**: £22,000 - £24,000

**Hours**: Full Time - Permanent

**What are we looking for**:
We're looking for someone who's got a head for hard work, is reliable, and has great people skills.

You'll need to be confident, upbeat, and personable, as customer care and communication are key elements of the role

You'll be working within a small team that needs to work together to get jobs completed efficiently and on time.

**Some of the key tasks required include**:

- Assist Dispensing Optician's with handovers, frame advice, and dispensing
- Advising and helping patients in line with NHS procedures and practice policies (training provided)
- Conducting Triaging for Health Concerns
- Performing pre-screening examinations for Optometrists
- Supporting the wider team to ensure a well-structured clinic
- Performing collections to ensure the frames are fitted correctly, are comfortable, and provide clear vision.
- Perform a wide variety of admin-based tasks throughout the week to ensure orders and services are provided to a high standard and on time.
