Security Guard

Demon Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Security Officer for a client based in Feltham.

This role is based in the Distribution Centre of an e commerce company

THE ROLE WILL BE TEMP TO PERM AFTER 12 WEEKS, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY

**Working Hours are a rolling shift 4 days working 4 days off from 7.00 am - 7.00 pm**

**My client is seeking a flexible person that on occasions can help out when colleagues are on holiday**

Purpose of Job:
The role requires you to undertake a wide range of security duties which provide protection for assets, buildings and staff. MUST HOLD AN SIA LICENCE and available to work full time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perimeter guarding
- Mail examination
- Staff searches
- Patrolling internal and external areas
- Monitoring CCTV equipment and coordinating Access Control
- ID checks
- Alarm activations
- Stock checks on high value items
- Monitoring visitors and contractors activity
- Maintaining high levels of site health and safety

**Experience required**:
Dealing calmly and professionally with all staff and visitors

Knowledge of PC systems and packages required (MS Office)

Ability to work effectively and build rapport with multiple stakeholders

Attention to detail, proactive and organised. Good communication skills

Experience within a warehouse/operational environment or airport security is required
