**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, other beverages and cakes with precision and care.
- Operate cafe equipment adeptly, including coffee machines, steamers, dishwashers, and point-of-sale systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of both customer tables and workspace.
- Demonstrate proactive guest service by anticipating needs and communicating effectively with management.
- Swiftly address any customer concerns or service issues, escalating to management, when necessary, to uphold our standards of excellence.
- Always uphold rigorous health and safety protocols, maintaining service and seating areas.

**Requirements**:

- Embrace a positive, approachable demeanour to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
- Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide friendly and attentive service to customers.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cafe, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic environment for patrons.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities or customer needs.
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and a positive work atmosphere.
- Food Handling Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety standards and procedures for handling food and beverages.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a Café or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of culinary practices and kitchen operations.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.

HOURS:

- Work Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday

As our farm welcomes visitors from 10 am to 5 pm, Wednesday through Sunday, availability on weekends is essential due to peak activity.
- Operating Hours: 10 am - 5 pm
- Working on Bank Holiday Weekends, including Bank Holiday Mondays.

This role requires availability to work on bank holiday weekends, including Mondays, to ensure consistent service excellence and guest satisfaction.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £7.58-£11.50 per hour
