We set the company’s strategy and technology vision, offer an unparalleled research foundation for innovation, and provide critical support infrastructure for Nokia.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

This role will provide specialized expertise to identify major technology disruptions and market shifts in datacenter networks and develop a technology vision and initial business case for Nokia to address the disruptions and enter new markets or product areas. Understand market network environment and challenges. Match market vision and customer business challenges with Nokia technologies and influence Nokia product roadmaps to align with market and customer needs. Provide technology trends, insights and related value argumentation to support product teams and sales activities in the market. Engage with senior customer stakeholders and effectively communicate complex technical topics. Understand entire Nokia portfolio, driving competitive roadmap and portfolio development including E2E solutions based on market requirements.

As part of our team, you will:

- Identifies and develops technical strategies to create business opportunities to expand Nokia’s datacenter solutions.
- Identify and explore options for Nokia to expand its datacenter switching opportunities in both Webscale and Enterprise.
- Develops business cases to drive the investment required to implement or acquire new products and technologies.
- Work closely with product teams to align roadmaps with market requirements.
- Identify potentially disruptive technologies and ensure product teams are aware of the potential impact and plan accordingly to exploit or mitigate the disruption.
- Understand and articulate new technologies, solutions, and architectures including identification of market leaders.

**Your skills and experience**

You have:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, business or a related field is required
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a technical product or business development role with deep experience working with or in product teams and RBCs
- Deep and broad knowledge of IP routing and/or data center switching would be an asset
- Proven technical success in leading or influencing new products that were impactful and grew market share
- Verifiable track record engaging customers at a senior level
- Capability of managing complex issues and motivating and leading diverse global virtual teams
- Ability to transfer knowledge across all segments
- Analytical thinking and the ability to understand the business impact of emerging technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
