A brilliant opportunity has come up for a Maintenance Engineer to work for a specialist corrugated packaging company who have been established for 30+ years and continue to grow to this day. The company itself has specific machinery that is essential totheir operations such as die cutting, gluers and other corrugated machinery that needs constant attention.

**Maintenance Engineer

**£30,000 - £36,000 + OT**

**Manchester**

The Maintenance Engineer will be dealing with installs, fault finding, breakdowns and general maintenance of their packaging equipment, which includes, Gluers, Colour Printers and Die Cutters. This is a great opportunity for an engineer to put their ownstamp on the company as well as working in a fast paced and growing environment.

**Responsibilities include**
- Great mechanical understanding
- Some electrical fault-finding works
- You will effectively lead and service and repair the machinery equipment & assets. You will be required to work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and computerized systems.
- Experience of corrugated packaging machinery or similar is a major advantage
- Commissioning of new machinery Breakdowns, service & installation
- Come from the packaging industry or similar
- To look after a small team and guide them in their day-to-day duties
- 2 years+ experience
- Company is big on customer service, experience with dealing with clients

**Essential**:

- Strong customer service skills
- 2+ years’ experience in packaging or related industry
- Strong Electrical background with mechanical experience.
- A related qualification in electrical engineering or similar would be advantageous.
- City & Guilds experience is welcome

Our client is offering a salary reflecting experience with 20 days holidays including bank which increases on service, credit card, phone and nest pension.
