**Quantity Surveyor**

Fawkes & Reece are working with a market leading national house builder with requirements for an experienced and ambitious Quantity Surveyor in Leicestershire

As an award winning national house builder, our client prides themselves on maintaining excellent standard of quality throughout their organization. Investing in each employee and providing a nourishing environment for individuals to follow the mapped careerprogression paths.

You will be responsible for maintaining multiple projects concurrently, determining work priority and maintaining schedules. Whilst following each project from inception through to completion you will pool commercial department resources and report directlyto the commercial manager.

**Responsibilities;**
- Produce accurate information for Contribution Forecasts and Monthly Cost/Value Reports
- Maximise profitability and cash benefit for the Company
- Control and administer sub-Contract accounts
- Re-measure of all Site works
- Liaise with Contract Management on Cost Control and all financial matters relating to the Contract
- Ensure Architects Instructions and Variations are obtained and properly valued
- Progress settlement of Final Accounts
- Efficiently procure sub-contractors

**Skills and experience**
- 2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a house builder
- You must have a HND/HNC in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- IT competency
