Strategic Account Manager/account Manager

An exciting and creative Promotional and Merchandising brand are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to look after the top key accounts £40k-£45k OTE £15K On top uncapped.
This brand is owned by a global organisation but a division which is small so you get to work in a boutique style environment.
Location: WFH flexible working + a London office. You are expected to be in 2 days a week and the rest WFH.
What are we after:
*Presentable + professional when presenting to core clients
*A strategist when it comes to growing existing accounts
*You must have a New Business mentality when it comes to your account management and extremely inquisitive on how to network and grow these accounts
*This is an FMCG solution however it is very much so a consultative sell, so we are after this type of salesperson
*You must be positive and enthusiastic

**Salary**: Circa £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Pension: 4% Company matched pension scheme administered by AEGON
Holiday: 33 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays and 3 office closure days) pro-rated.
This increases by 1 day per year's service up to a maximum of 36 days.
Commission: Participation in our commission scheme provides an OTE of £7,500.
The annual commission scheme is for performance of 100% of goal achievement for your allocated accounts (split into 50% achievement of net sales target and 50% net margin target).
For performance over goal attainment, a sliding scales will be used with a cap of 200% payout.
In addition for any new business you bring on you will be entitled to an incentive amount of 1% of the net sales from any new customer's business, for a period of up to 12 months after the first order placement from that customer.
Primary
**Responsibilities**:
*Reaches and exceeds revenue and margin goals for existing allocated accounts
*Develops annual sales plans for key customers, identifying key strategies to grow each account and calendarising and implementing key initiatives to achieve annual sales budgets
*Develops and maintains relationships within all key departments for assigned existing clients, including, but not limited to marketing, events, HR and procurement contacts.There will be a significant element of business development within the existing customerbase.
*Understand client business initiatives, sales and marketing strategy, sales distribution channel, procurement process, brand strategy, brand identity guidelines, event schedules, ad campaigns, anniversaries and product launches, in order to proactively presentstrategic and relevant merchandise product suggestions and secure orders
*Proactive and regular sales contact with customers, presenting strategically relevant products ideas, new trends and information to customers and prospects.
- Keeps a calendar of past orders and proactively connects with customers to ensure repeat orders are placed with the company. Also explores further opportunities within the accounts.
*Maintains up-to-date knowledge of company's product lines and processes, sales philosophy, and industry conditions to provide innovative support and technical assistance to customers.
*Hits KPIs as set by the Sales Director:
*Monthly sales and margin targets
*Weekly/fortnightly contact plan for key customers - demonstrating regularity of contact, presentation of trends and new product suggestions, strong understanding of customer needs and key initiatives
*Provision of quotes within 4-24 hours (depending on complexity) and timely follow up to ensure conversion to order
*Cross sell & upsell on every opportunity
*Daily maintenance of customer contact, projects and initiatives, quotes and orders on Salesforce CRM platform
*Expansion of contacts and business opportunities within existing customer accounts, as well as development of new business opportunities
