Who will you be working with?

We are seeking an experienced Store operative to join our team at Spares& Trading (a Division of Wabtec UK Ltd) based in Barton Under Needwood we support our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing trains.

**Salary**: £Competitive

Location: Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, (DE13 8EN) - (Onsite)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30pm and Friday 08:00am to 13.00pm, 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

How will you make a difference?

Within the stores department you will be responsible for dealing with the products that come into Spares & Trading. You will ensure that stock is moved around by hand or using forklift truck, selecting orders and keeping paperwork up to date on the computerised system Oracle. Booking goods in / out and despatching parts to customers.

What will your typical day look like?
- Stock movements/processing transactions, carried out efficiently both physically and within Oracle
- Audit inventory in line with company policy, including audits
- Visual checks and counts of goods to ensure documentation accuracy
- Goods shipped to customers on the date required
- Control of customer assets both dirty and overhauled, via documentation, physically and systematically
- Loading and off-loading vehicles

What do we want to know about you?
- Experience in a warehouse environment advantageous
- Computer literate
- Hold a valid current UK driving licence
- Possess a qualified counter-balance truck driver
- GCSE standard numeracy and literacy
- Good communication skills
