Material Handler

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
Operate forklifts to move materials within the factory using various plant machinery, including multi-directionals and straddle carrier machine.
Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles
Manage inventory using the factory management system
Carrying out banksman duties
Oversee shipping and receiving processes - loading & offloading shipments
Handle materials with care to prevent damage

**Experience**:
Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role
Proficiency in forklift operation and other factory equipment is desirable however full training will be given
Familiarity with production management systems
Strong organisational skills to manage inventory effectively

Basic hours 40hrs per week
On a 4 day week rotation.
Mon - Thurs for 2weeks
Then Tues - Friday for 2weeks.

Starting at 06:30 - 17:00
If 06:30 is an issue, then Client could maybe move it to 07:00 - 17:30

There will be overtime when business requires.

Nightshift when it is on is 4 shifts.
7pm to 7am
Starting Monday night 7pm & finishing 7am Fri morn.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £15.37 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
