So you know your stuff when it comes to electrical systems and have a few years on the tools, but what next?

If you're looking for career progression but don't fancy managing a team, want to keep a hands on role but bored of day-to-day servicing becoming a Surveyor is the next step up for you

No surveying background? No problem Your new employer is known as THE place to learn the trade. As a world leader they'll train you from the ground up and invest thousands of pounds in your development to ensure you have a long-term career as a respectedEngineering Surveyor going forwards.

Once you're all trained up you'll visit sites across the South East to deliver testing and inspections on their electrical equipment, produce surveys, recommend works and advise them on changes to standards and legislations. You'll be working in complexenvironments so you'll never be bored, there are lots of different systems here to test and inspect, ensuring the site remains safe and operational.

Even after your initial training you'll be given lots of support from your managers and the wider business to continue your development through on the job training and industry accreditations like ATEX and CompEx.

All you need to start is a background maintaining or servicing electrical systems in a commercial or industrial environment.

Given that you're working in that environment already it's expected you'll have be trained up through an electrical apprenticeship scheme or hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an electrical discipline. City & Guilds 2391 in Testing and Inspection wouldbe a nice bonus too.
