Your new company
An ambitious and sector leading business services organisation based near Stoke on Trent. They are now recruiting for a Category Manager / Senior Buyer to join the team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, the Category Manager / Senior Buyer will partner the business to manage all procurement related activities. The role will support the development and implementation of key category strategies, review contracts andleading tender processes, as well as, monitoring and managing supplier performance. The Category Manager / Senior Buyer will also be responsible for processes all related procurement processes including creating suppliers, cataloguing and resolving supplierissues.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a Buyer, Senior Buyer or Category Manager with experience of managing end-to-end procurement processes. You will have previous indirect procurement and contract management experience. You will have great communication skills, bewell organised and have a collaborative approach. Holding a CIPS qualification (or studying) is preferred.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 (DOE) plus great benefits. The role will work on a hybrid basis.
