We are recruiting for a Transport Planner based in our busy Hull office.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Day to day planning of vehicles

Direct daily contact with drivers

Build and maintain close working relationships with customers

Prioritising workload

Manage delivery times and workload

Closely working with fleet maintenance team to arrange services, inspections and MOT’s for vehicles and trailers

Transport administration

The Person:
Ideally minimum one year experience working in a traffic environment in a traffic planning role

Knowledge of the dry bulk business would be advantageous

Knowledge of drivers working hours

An understanding of compliance within the transport industry

Ability to work under pressure within a busy transport office

Good communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Flexible on working hours

Demonstrate a keen eye for detail whilst working under pressure.

Good computer skills

Salary negotiable depending on experience, 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays, company pension scheme.
