We at ASQ Education are in the process of recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to start within an incredible Secondary School in Surrey. The role is currently open and would require you to start as soon as possible.

To be considered for this role preferably you would have recently graduated from university and gained at least a Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2). The school are always open to those who have relative experience working with children and young people eitherin schools, colleges or HEIs. The position is available to start ASAP and runs until the end of the academic year.

The position is based within a school in the outstandingly beautiful Surrey Area and has cutting-edge facilities available to both its staff & pupils. The school has an impressive team of specialists, Teaching Assistants & HLTAs. You will be joining a teamthat is confident in the work they do. This prestigious school are looking to recruit an individual who is dependable and grounded. There is also an opportunity that the school could decide to take you on permanently.

This is a role that necessitates you to have a real desire to support young and vulnerable pupils during their time in school. This is a school that will value the work you do and how you do it. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be a play a special role in helping to contribute to the daily learning experiences and overall student development.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

- Experience and knowledge of working within a SEND department or relative experience that is transferable to the education sector (Desirable)
- The ability to support your key students in multiple settings: 1:1, within group settings, inside the classroom environment and outdoors
- To use your initiative and to lead by example
- To be friendly and professional in your approach to staff & pupils alike
- You must have excellent time management and organizational skills
- You must always carry yourself in a friendly and professional manner
- Graduates of any discipline who are looking to train to become teachers are hugely desirable
