**About us**:
Established 1933, Harburn Golf Club is a member and family oriented friendly golf club with a passion for our sport.

With almost 600 members and a successful on site restaurant partner, we’re a popular community club.

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team on a permanent basis and help take our club to the next level.

As **Marketing Administrator **you will report to our Management Team and work closely with our Members Secretary to ensure the continued success of Harburn Golf Club.

An experienced marketer and administrator you will have a wide responsibility for the continued success and growth of our club. A “can do” attitude in this role is every bit as important as relevant experience.

Key aspects of the role will be constructing and implementing effective strategies for attracting new members and visitors and of course retention of our existing membership, some of whom extend more than 60 years with our club.

**Key Areas of responsibility are**:

- Marketing of Harburn Golf Club to attract and retain new members, regular society golfers and visitors to the course.
- Member engagement to ensure our existing membership feel valued and cared for.
- Daily, weekly, monthly responsibility for the effective use of Social Media for club promotion including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Active posting of current and valid news and competition results for our members.
- Updating and keeping fresh the club website.
- Administrative cohesion with our restaurant partner Bistro 19 to ensure visiting parties are fully planned and catered for.
- School and local community interaction to assist Harburn recruit and retain our members of the future.
- Management of some minor administrative duties in conjunction with the needs of an operational building.
- Liaise with the Management Team

**About You**:
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated experienced marketeer and customer oriented individual, driven by results and with a passion for delivering first class service.

The club can offer flexible working hours and days to fit in with the needs of the successful applicant and we envisage the number of hours to be 12-16 hours per week.
