This business needs a Payroll Clerk to sit between the HR and Finance team and ensure payroll is processed accurately and most importantly, on time for all staff

The role is completely varied; you won’t just be managing one aspect of payroll but completing the process from start to finish alongside a colleague who has worked for the business for years so can train you on all the processes, legislation and system - it’s just a pre-requisite that you’ve prepared payroll previously.

**Your duties will include -**
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll
- Calculating SSP, SMP and statutory payments
- Calculating holiday and sick pay
- Calculating Tax and NI
- RTI Submissions
- Auto-enrolment
- Dealing with HMRC queries
- Setting up starters and leavers
- Issuing P45s/ P60s

There is the opportunity to progress into a Senior Payroll or Team Leader position as the business grows and recruits additional staff - allowing to branch into management or building your own team and sharing your knowledge.
