**Cover Supervisor**
Protocol Education are currently seeking for a confident, flexible, and engaging individual to take on a role as a Cover Supervisor for a Secondary School in the Stockton-on-Tees area. We are looking for people who will enjoy being effective in supporting students, including those with complex needs, and who have an appreciation of the positive attitude required to encourage independence in their students.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a class of students varying from KS3 and KS4. You will be tasked with helping the school with its day-to-day classroom cover needs when the usual teacher is unavailable. You must be enthusiastic, proactive, and determined to help students flourish in the education.
You will be expected to:
- Develop and maintain a calm learning environment and use good behaviour management skills.
- Build strong relationships with children and young people, including those with SEND needs.
**Requirements**:
- Experience working with children (e.g., tuition, sports coach, etc.)
- Exceptionally good communication skills.
- Be responsive, flexible, and sensitive to the differing needs of pupils.
- Driver (preferred).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
