Newark and Sherwood District Council is committed to making the district a cleaner, safer and greener place to live, work and visit. This is reflected in the objectives of our Community Plan, and the Environmental Services Business Unit will have this at the heart of its activities.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to support the Street Scene team in their work keeping the Newark and Sherwood district clean and litter free all through the week and at some of the busiest times of day

Working as a Street Cleansing Operative, you will provide a high-quality and high performing street cleansing service.

You will possess a full driving licence and have a knowledge of health and safety and manual handling techniques along with the ability to work unsupervised in all weathers.
