Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

£11.40 per hour

Our client, specialists in the transport and logistics industry for over 70 years, have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to work within their busy office environment at their Nursling location in Hampshire. This is a permanent position

Experience within a Warehouse Operative and Forklift Driver role or similar is required. This role would suit someone who has an interest in the transport and logistics industry or enjoys working under pressure within a fast paced warehouse environment.

The Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver role will involve various tasks including:

- Booking in customer orders accurately using a booking in portal on the system
- Picking and locating goods within the warehouse using a hand scanner
- Loading and unloading deliveries using the Counterbalance forklift and by hand
- Booking in landed orders returned from the customer to be stored in the warehouse
- Document scanning for customers required paperwork

The shift available is Monday to Fridays 7.00am until 5.30pm, however the hours may be changing soon to 0830-1730. You will be required to work on occasional Saturday morning from 7am until 12 mid day every 1 in 4 Saturdays. The company pay weekly.
