Aircraft Refueling Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Refuelling Supervisor to join our busy team at Bournemouth Airport.
**Main Responsibilities of the role**:
1. To supervise all fuelling services to customers including receipt and delivery of fuel and in-to-plane duties in accordance with all applicable regulations and in a timely manner often at short notice.
2. To assist the Fuel Services Manager in financial and resource budgeting within the department, especially in relation to overtime, communications, uniform, fuel, vehicle maintenance and equipment hire.
3. To ensure staff comply with all departmental procedures and safety management system protocols
4. To produce and maintain up to date risk assessments and written procedures, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
5. Shift plan and roster the department, including additional refueling cover as and when required during the busy periods, including sickness and holiday cover and to allocate tasks accordingly.
6. To effectively supervise, deliver and maintain training and training records to a compliant standard, ensuring that CAA, legal and airline/operator requirements are met.
7. To supervise and be responsible for the quality of fuel passing through the department in accordance with EASA Implementing Regulations, JIG, HMRC, CAP 748 and to standards required by the fuel providers and customers.
8. Be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are inspected and monitored for serviceability and compliance, supervising reported deficiencies escalated to line management, ensuring unserviceable equipment is not used and managing relationships with the Motor Transport department/other approved professionals as required.

**Essential Requirements**:
- A sound knowledge of Aviation Health & Safety and Security reporting obligations;
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in/operating fuel farms and in-to plane fuelling operations to a diverse selection of aircraft;
- Experience of managing/supervising a team;
- Operational IT skills;
- Ability to interpret and follow regulation and procedures.
